CURRICULUM

The Future School in Cao Lã, Đồng Tháp, Vietnam, is a school that focuses on the development of education with the aim of creating a future-ready generation. The school offers a range of education from preschool to high school, with complete and modern facilities, including high-tech classrooms, sports facilities, and an arts area.

The curriculum implemented at Trường Tương Lai is designed to meet the needs of students with a holistic approach. The school emphasizes on developing students' cognitive, social, and emotional abilities, as well as preparing them to face global challenges. In addition to core lessons, students are also taught life skills, English, and German, which are part of a collaboration with educational institutions in Germany. This collaboration provides an opportunity for students to continue their studies in Germany after graduation


TEACHING PLAN RELATED TO YOUR MAJOR

As a participant in the 10th batch of the SEA-Teacher program, I had the opportunity to carry out teaching activities for approximately one month at Future School, Cao Lãnh, Đồng Tháp, Vietnam. In this program, I was placed in Senior High School, precisely in class 10S. During the activities, I was guided by a supervisor who played a role in monitoring and providing direction.

My initial activity began by making observations twice, namely in class 5Y taught by Ms. Yen Trinh and in class 10S by Ms. Thanh Tuyen. During the observation, I recorded every activity carried out by the teacher, from the way the material was delivered to how the students completed the assigned tasks. In addition, I also pay attention to classroom rules and various other aspects related to the dynamics of teaching and learning activities.

After the observation, I was given the responsibility to teach in class 10S for physics subjects that were in accordance with my major, namely Physics Education with a total of four sessions within one month. Before carrying out the teaching demonstration, I prepared a lesson plan guided by my supervisor, Mr. Quach Kha Quang. After the lesson plan was approved and in accordance with the set standards, I was allowed to teach in the classroom. Here is one of the lesson plans that I have made.

TEACHING PRACTICE

PROCEDURES OF TEACHING Before starting teaching practice, the first step I take is to prepare a well-structured lesson plan. Afterwards, I consulted with my supervisor, Mr. Quach Kha Quang, to ensure that the plan was in line with the expected learning standards. This lesson plan not only serves as a guide, but also serves as a foundation in preparing for each teaching session in the classroom. In it, I formulate some specific learning goals that students must achieve. These goals are the main benchmarks for evaluating the success of the learning process. During the implementation of learning, I try to ensure that at the end of the session, students are able to achieve the goals that have been set, so that the whole process can be categorized as successful. To support students' understanding, I often use illustrative videos that are relevant to the topic being taught. SUMMARY AND SUGGESTIONS

  PURPOSE OF PRACTICUM As a physics education student and a participant in the 10th batch of the SEA-Teacher program, I feel that this program is very suitable for my needs, especially in preparing to become a teacher in the future.
