TEACHING PRACTICE

PROCEDURES OF TEACHING

Before starting teaching practice, the first step I take is to prepare a well-structured lesson plan. Afterwards, I consulted with my supervisor, Mr. Quach Kha Quang, to ensure that the plan was in line with the expected learning standards. This lesson plan not only serves as a guide, but also serves as a foundation in preparing for each teaching session in the classroom. In it, I formulate some specific learning goals that students must achieve. These goals are the main benchmarks for evaluating the success of the learning process.

During the implementation of learning, I try to ensure that at the end of the session, students are able to achieve the goals that have been set, so that the whole process can be categorized as successful. To support students' understanding, I often use illustrative videos that are relevant to the topic being taught. The use of these videos is very helpful for students in imagining abstract concepts more clearly, so that they can more easily relate the material taught to the real world. This also creates a more engaging and interactive learning experience for students.

TIME MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZING ACTIVITIES

I practiced teaching in the same class, namely 10S 4 times. During my teaching practice, I always try to follow the lesson plan that I have made so that the teaching and learning process runs on time according to the material that will be delivered. I also organize my time by dividing it into 3 class activities as follows:

a. Preparatory Activity (5 minutes)

At this stage, I will start by opening the class and checking the attendance of the students. After that, I will explain the learning objectives to be achieved, followed by asking opening questions related to the material to be studied, to stimulate students' initial thinking.

b. Lesson Proper (30 minutes)

This stage has 3 parts, namely:
1) Motivation (5 minutes)
At this stage, I will motivate students to increase their interest in listening to the material that will be delivered. By relating the subject matter to real situations or things relevant to daily life, it is hoped that students will feel more engaged and enthusiastic about learning.
2) Presentation (15 minutes)
Next, I will convey the material that has been prepared in detail. I will explain the main concepts in clear and easy-to-understand language. In addition, I will periodically ask students questions to ensure that they understand the material being explained and to encourage active participation in the learning process.
3) Application (20 minutes)
At this stage, I will divide students into small groups and give practice questions to work on together. In addition, I will include game elements in the discussion process to add excitement and dynamics to the learning. This way, students can apply the knowledge they have learned practically while still enjoying the learning process

c. Conclusion (5 minutes)

In the closing stage, I will give a brief summary of the material that has been discussed to strengthen students' understanding before ending the lesson.

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

Based on my observations, I manage the class by setting rules that students must follow to keep the atmosphere orderly. I also conduct question-and-answer sessions with students, as well as give them the opportunity to discuss with their peers when they feel confused by questions. In addition, I make sure to check if anyone wants to ask about the material or assignment given. To keep the enthusiasm going, I occasionally include small games or interactive activities related to the material to make learning more enjoyable and students interested, especially in physics subjects.

PROBLEM-SOLVING

In the learning process, when students face difficulties in completing the exercises, I will give a re-explanation of the steps to solve them. After that, I often ask one of the students to work on other problems on the board using the same method I have described, so that they can better understand the concepts learned.
